As a Product Manager III, you will drive the evolution of our Salesforce platform, focusing on optimizing our consumption business processes and enabling cross-functional teams to scale efficiently. TechOps sits at the intersection of every business unit and delivers mission critical services, solutions and information to stakeholders across the entire company.
What You'll DoProduct Strategy & Vision
- Define and execute the product roadmap for Salesforce platform enhancements that support MongoDB's consumption business model
- Partner with Sales Operations, Customer Success, Finance, Deal Desk, Order to Cash, and Legal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions
- Drive strategic initiatives across opportunity management, quote-to-cash processes, bookings, and forecasting capabilities
- Understand different user journeys and create rolling 12-month roadmaps based on user needs
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Stakeholders, Operations, Product Owners, Business Systems Analysts and Technical teams to deliver high-impact projects on time
- Facilitate alignment between multiple stakeholders including Sales, Sales Operations, Professional Services, Support Operations, Customer Success Managers, Legal, and Revenue
- Lead user acceptance testing and implementation of new functionality through targeted communications, demos, and user training
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders across the organization
- Communicate complex technical issues simply (via memos) and effectively to wide range of audiences from engineers to executives
Technical Product Management
- Create comprehensive Product Description (PDs) Documents or Requirement documents, Process Documents etc
- Experience with Salesforce platform components including security, automation, approval processes, visual flows, and custom objects
- Design end-to-end solutions that integrate with best-of-breed applications throughout sales transaction lifecycles
- Proactively seek ways to utilize Salesforce to improve processes and productivity for an organization scaling at rapid pace
- Orchestrate comprehensive solutions by accounting for integrations needed across varied applications
Agile Development & Delivery
- Work within Agile/Scrum environments to manage backlog prioritization and sprint planning
- Groom user stories with engineering teams, clarifying acceptance criteria, story points, and effort estimates
- Make data-driven trade-off decisions and re-prioritize based on changing business needs
- Maintain and update a well-organized and prioritized backlog
- Facilitate communication with other MongoDB teams to ensure roadmaps and deliverables are aligned
Experience & Background
- 3-5 years of product management experience with enterprise software platforms
- Strong background in CRM systems with hands-on Salesforce configuration experience
- Experience working with consumption-based or usage-driven business models
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical solutions in fast-paced environments
Technical Skills
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities including security, automation, and custom development
- Experience with opportunity-to-quote, bookings, commissions and quote-to-cash business processes
- Ability to assess technical complexity and provide accurate effort estimates for planning purposes
- Knowledge of integration patterns and migration strategies for business applications

- CRM subject matter expertise in all things Salesforce, including opportunity-to-quote, bookings, commissions, forecasting and quote-to-cash processes
- Strong analytical skills with ability to understand user journeys and create rolling roadmaps
- High-level ability to think through solutions and determine effort/complexity for planning purposes
- Ability to assess project complexity and bring together right stakeholders for well-rounded implementation
- Excellent communication skills to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences from engineers to executives

- Strong ability to guide stakeholders and developers to right product decisions for stable, scalable, growth-oriented platform

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
