About the Role

We are looking for a student or recent grad who is passionate about AI Product Development and Design! This role will work closely with our Product Managers and MLE team.

Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation
    Identify core needs through user/stakeholder discussions, then draft concise feature requirements for engineering and design teams

  • Market & Competitive Research
    Investigate AI product trends, analyze competitor offerings, and compile briefings on market gaps or opportunities to inform product direction

  • Product Teardowns & Analysis
    Examine competitor or reference AI products, dissect user flows, and highlight insights (e.g., design best practices, feature gaps, unique approaches)

  • Turning Product Feedback Into Action Items
    Collect user feedback (e.g., testing notes, support tickets) and transform it into actionable tasks, ensuring the development backlog reflects real needs

  • Product Planning & Roadmapping
    Help build feature roadmaps or sprint plans, coordinate release timelines, and keep cross-functional teams aligned on upcoming milestones

  • Project Management & Technical Triage
    Track bugs, feature requests, and QA items; route them to the correct teams, and assist in prioritizing critical issues to maintain development momentum

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently Enrolled or Completed
    A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field

  • Foundational AI Knowledge
    Some exposure to machine learning concepts (via coursework, projects, or side hobbies)

  • Analytical Mindset
    Comfortable working with data (spreadsheets or basic Python) to draw insights and inform decisions

  • Basic Product & UX Sense
    Familiarity with user research, feature definition, or design thinking from past projects or extracurriculars

  • Teamwork & Communication
    Experience collaborating in student orgs, labs, or group assignments; able to present ideas to both technical and non-technical peers. Excellent written and oral English skills

  • Self-Starter Mentality
    Organized, proactive, and adaptable to shifting priorities in a dynamic AI-focused environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some technical background is preferred

  • Understanding and experience with web3 and blockchain is a plus

Additional Notes

  • Internship type: This is a paid internship. Hours are flexible and will depend on Intern's availability, and compensation will depend on level of academic and professional experience.

  • Location: Pacific/Mountain time zones are ideal, but Central/Eastern will be considered
