Position Summary:
The mission of the Engine Product Line Representative is to provide day-to-day operational support of a multi-million-dollar business. The Engine Product Line Representative will work collaboratively with JSSI’s internal resources to ensure JSSI Parts is capitalizing on every profitable opportunity. This role will serve as a primary contact for the JSSI Parts team for Honeywell, Rolls Royce, and GE Engines.. This role will support contracted JSSI’s Clients with Honeywell, Rolls Royce, and GE Engines (TFE, CFE, BR710, CF34, etc.) and with the objectives of (1) reducing JSSI’s maintenance costs through proactive provisioning of material, and (2) creating third-party revenue for the business by selling existing stock and creating brokering opportunities. The Product Line Representative is an entrepreneur and a business professional with integrity and the capacity to effectively grow and manage an operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn all technical aspects of the various Honeywell, Rolls Royce, and GE Engines and that JSSI supports.
- Have a strong working knowledge in the values of complete assets and related parts.
- Manage the complete supply chain process in supporting material requirements for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Learn JSSI’s existing Honeywell, Rolls Royce, and GE product offerings across various fleets.
- Work closely with the JSSI Parts Purchasing and Sales teams.
- Conduct financial analysis on purchase opportunities and market evaluations.
- Create relationships with engine suppliers, repair vendors and customers.
- Effectively present JSSI Parts to prospective customers and suppliers.
- Identify and move quickly on opportunities.
- Settle discrepancies with customer orders in a professional and timely manner.
- Call on regular and prospective customers and vendors to solicit new business.
- Negotiate prices with customers and vendors.
- Identify market trends and anticipate areas of opportunity.
- Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained through proactive buying.
- Manage on-site inventory movement in and out of the system.
- Maximize sales and margin goals.
- Attend domestic and international trade shows, conferences and seminars.
- Support AOG material requirements.
Desired Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of three years in supporting Engines and/or APUs
- Ability to effectively communicate business opportunities
- Working knowledge of aircraft, engines and APU’s
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships and communicate effectively via email and telephone
- Ability to function independently
- Highly organized and able to thrive in fast-paced environment
At JSSI, we are committed to rewarding our team members with competitive and comprehensive compensation packages that reflect their contributions and talent.
For this role, the annual base pay generally ranges from $75,000 to $85,000, with the final offer determined by variable factors including but not limited to market location, job-specific knowledge, skills, education, and experience. In addition, your total rewards package may include an annual discretionary bonus plan, incentive or sales bonus plan, or other form of additional compensation, based on your role.
