Job Title:  Product Lifecycle Operations Director

Reports to:  Program Senior Director, Digital & Data

Location:   Portland, OR, or Goleta, CA. (Hybrid)

The Role

As the PLC Operations Director, you will set the strategy and operational excellence in accordance to global best practice for our product life cycle management. Ensuring seamless execution of our brand strategies across all channels. You will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of systems and processes that enhance our brand's efficiency, consistency, and impact.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

  • System Design and Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of robust systems and workflows to support brand operations. Build scalable solutions to support product life cycle growth plans.
  • Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes across the organization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align cross-brands and functional teams to ensure cohesive brand execution.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and monitor compliance, to measure the effectiveness and quality of brand operations and drive continuous improvement.

We’d love to hear from people with

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of +10 years of experience in product development and operations in the Apparel and footwear industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in product development, assortment building or/and buyer working with suppliers.
  • Systems Experience: Proven experience in system design and implementation, particularly with PLM systems. Experience with Flex PLM is a plus.
  • Change Management: Strong background in change management and driving organizational adoption of new systems.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.

$185,000 - $200,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your preferred location during the hiring process.
