We are monday.com, a global software company transforming how businesses run. Our product suite can adapt to the needs of diverse industries and use cases within one powerful platform, empowering ~245,000 customers worldwide to reimagine how work gets done, drive greater efficiency, and scale like never before.

With over 3,000 employees across the globe, we grow by prioritizing transparency and knowledge sharing. We care about the impact you make, not the hours you clock, so we encourage initiative, ownership, and fresh thinking. We back our people with flexible work, wellness and mental health support, and a work environment built on collaboration.

As a Product Lead for Product Foundations, you’ll own the core building blocks that power every monday.com product - ensuring our platform remains resilient, scalable, secure, and AI-ready. You’ll drive strategy and execution across foundational domains like search-as-a-platform, contextual data layer, activity log, service resilience, and AI data governance, setting the stage for monday.com’s next decade of growth.

This is a highly technical, strategic role where you’ll set the vision, establish the roadmap, and partner with engineering to create the infrastructure and capabilities that enable every product team at monday.com to build faster, safer, and at scale.

The role is based in our Warsaw office - established in 2022, it is a growing hub for engineers who love solving impactful problems. Teams here work on a broad range of challenges that push the boundaries of our products and infrastructure.

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years driving technical or infrastructure products in high-scale SaaS.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling core platform capabilities - data pipelines, distributed systems, search, encryption, and real-time infrastructure.
  • Expertise in designing resilient systems at scale, including guardrails, rate limiting, predictive scaling, and self-healing mechanisms.
  • Technically fluent and empathetic: you can dive deep with engineers and explain complex concepts simply to executives.
  • Strategic thinker and pragmatic builder - you set long-term vision while delivering iterative, measurable impact.
  • Data-driven leader: you rely on metrics, telemetry, and experimentation to guide decisions.
  • Excellent communicator and influencer: trusted by engineers, peers, and executives alike.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, able to prioritize across multiple technical domains and set a clear vision for long-term platform evolution.
  • Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field strongly preferred.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
