We’re looking for a passionate and technically skilled Product Education Engineer / Technical Writer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for building educational experiences that help users, customers, and partners deeply understand and successfully adopt our security and DevOps products.
You’ll work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, customer success, and marketing to develop engaging content such as tutorials, guides, videos, workshops, and interactive labs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality educational materials (docs, tutorials, courses, videos, webinars, and hands-on labs).
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and practical learning experiences.
- Create and document best practices.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to stay up-to-date on product changes and roadmaps.
- Partner with Customer Success to align content strategy with user needs.
- Gather feedback from users and iterate on content based on performance and impact.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing, technical education, or related fields.
- Prior experience in a cloud infrastructure or cybersecurity company.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and security fundamentals.
- Experience working with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and/or infrastructure-as-code platforms (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Advantages
- Previous experience in DevOps or similar roles.
- Experience delivering technical workshops or live training sessions.
- Understanding of security and DevOps personas.
- Familiarity with video/audio production or e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe Suite, etc.).
Base salary: $140K-$160K
