Product Director, AI-Powered Healthcare Payments

Machinify is seeking a visionary and hands-on Product Director to help us leverage the latest advances in AI—including generative AI and AI agents—to build the next generation of healthcare payment automation products. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of healthcare operations by building solutions that combine deep technical expertise, customer empathy, and a passion for transforming complex workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Define Product Vision and Requirements:

Lead the definition of product requirements for Machinify’s Payments solutions, ensuring they align with both customer needs and the capabilities of our AI platform.

• Develop a Deep Understanding of Customers:

Gather and analyze customer needs, policies, and processes. Translate these insights into clear, actionable requirements for Data Science and Engineering teams.

• Analyze Data and Drive Business Value:

Utilize Data Science and understand the drivers of business value for our customers. Challenge the status quo and propose new, AI-driven processes to deliver that value.

• Hands-On with AI & Technology:

Develop a deep understanding of the Machinify platform and products, and estimate the technical complexity of implementation. Apply hands-on experience with generative AI or intelligent agents to prototype and validate new approaches to automation.

• Cross-Functional Alignment:

Build strong partnerships and facilitate collaboration across Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Design teams. Lead refinement discussions to drive out needed functional requirement details.

• Stakeholder Management:

Drive cross-functional alignment among stakeholders, ensuring everyone is working towards shared goals and that feedback loops are fast and effective.

• Product Roadmap Execution:

Ensure the execution of our product roadmap, setting key delivery milestones and overseeing the seamless delivery of product requirements.

• Client Service Mindset:

Bring experience from consulting or client service environments, with the ability to build trust, understand client needs, and deliver measurable value in partnership with customers.

• Curiosity & Critical Thinking:

Bring a high level of curiosity and the ability to ask probing questions, always seeking to learn and improve.

What You Bring

• Product Leadership:

Deep experience as a Product Director or Senior Product Manager in a high-tech organization, with a strong track record of facilitating the delivery of enterprise-level roadmaps.

• Technical Fluency:

Extensive background in software product delivery, either as a product manager or a software engineer. Ability to understand engineering concepts and communicate effectively with technical teams.

• Data Science Knowledge:

Working knowledge of data Science and Machine Learning techniques to be credible and able to work with data scientists and practitioners on .

• Hands-On AI Experience:

Direct, practical experience using generative AI or AI agents to transform or automate business processes is a plus.

• Client Service Orientation:

Experience in consulting or client service environments, with demonstrated ability to build positive relationships based on trust and value delibvered.

• Initiative & Ownership:

You take the initiative and own projects from start to finish, driving outcomes and continuous improvement.

• Stakeholder Management and Relationship Building:

Ability to build positive relationships across diverse teams and with customers and manage multiple stakeholders

• Exceptional Communication:

Strong communicator with excellent process and decision-making skills; able to facilitate alignment and inspire cross-functional teams.

• Strategic & Detail-Oriented:

A critical thinker who can be strategic without losing attention to detail.

Passion for AI Transformation & Healthcare:

A curiosity and transforming driven by AI. Knowledge of healthcare payments, reducing administrative waste, and improving outcomes through cutting-edge technology a plus
