This role is responsible for managing a high-touch, multi-party approval workflow between wholesale partners, buying agents, internal cross-functional teams, and suppliers, ensuring product is cost-engineered, production-ready, and executed flawlessly at large scale. You will serve as the central owner of cost, sourcing strategy, component approvals, and execution discipline, with a clear understanding that development decisions directly impact AUC, margin, financial systems accuracy, and delivery performance.

This position will report to the Director, Production & Sourcing – Wholesale.

Ensure all development decisions are scalable, repeatable and production-ready before Buy release.

  • Lead High-Touch Approval & Communication Flow: Manage quick-turn approval workflow milestones across wholesale partners, agents, internal cross-functional teams and suppliers, driving timely alignment and decisions that impact on-time delivery.

  • Bulk Production & Vendor Communication: Transition approved styles seamlessly from development to production with all Time & Action Plans locked in and clearly communicated ensuring that Vendor receives all necessary information. Proactively identify and resolve risk tied to cost, COO, materials, components, or approvals. Oversee data integrity related to PO Creation ensuring shipping windows, Pre-pack ratios and SKU/UPC are accurately executed.

  • Regulatory Compliance & Labeling: Ensure product meets partner-specific required packaging, labeling, and regulatory third-party testing. Stay updated on changing regulations to maintain compliance across various regions. Ensuring accuracy, compliance and production alignment.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet Fabletics quality standards as well as the specific quality requirements set by wholesale partners. Review TOPs, QA inspection reports, garment test results, and development testing before goods are shipped.

  • Logistics & On-Time Delivery: Collaborate closely with Logistics teams to monitor transit schedules, lead times, and shipping requirements for each cargo handover. Maintain continuous communication with Supply Chain and Fulfillment Center to resolve any potential in-transit delays that may impact cancel-dates.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with Sales, TECH, FP&A, Trade Compliance and logistics teams as needed to ensure the smooth execution of high-volume wholesale product strategies through Standard Operating Procedures. Keep all teams informed on production statuses, shipping schedules, and any potential issues that may arise.

What You Can Bring:

  • 5+ years of Development and Sourcing experience in fashion or apparel manufacturing with 2+ years Wholesale experience.

  • Proven experience working with wholesale clubs or similarly complex retail partners requiring rigorous approval workflows, detailed documentation, and zero-tolerance execution standards.

  • Expertise in AI, Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions for data management

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
