Today, we work with K12 schools where students create comics and graphic novels in the classroom. We work closely with teachers to address student engagement, literacy rates, and more.

Responsibilities

– Lead the design vision, strategy, and execution for Lumi
– Talk with a diverse set of customers to understand their needs and develop thoughtfully designed solutions
– Rapidly prototype solutions, validate ideas through user testing, and refine designs based on feedback.
– Partner with product managers, engineers, and customer success to design and ship high-quality, scalable, inclusive product experiences
– Contribute to company strategy and product direction
– Communicate design rationale effectively to align stakeholders and guide product direction

What you bring

– 5+ years of experience as a UX or Product Designer with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex solutions across one or multiple product areas
– Expertise in Figma and prototyping tools
– Strong interaction and visual design skills, with experience leveraging and contributing to design systems
– Strong ability to navigate ambiguity, define problems, and rapidly find solutions
– Experience leading user research and applying insights to inform design decisions
– Experience with EdTech and designing AI-driven products is a plus

Compensation

Salary Range: $165,000-215,000 with equity and benefits

‍Location

Remote in the US with quarterly team trips
