Re‑architecting U.S. healthcare demands speed, precision, and an obsession with details. Cadence is building a remote care delivery system that keeps older people healthy, out of the hospital, and at home. By pairing each patient with a dedicated clinical team that reviews their health every day, versus every few months, we catch issues early and intervene before they escalate. The result: measurably better outcomes for patients and less administrative burden for clinicians.

Today, Cadence supports tens of thousands of  active patients nationwide. Our AI‑powered system and scalable clinical model enable proactive, population‑level care. We’re among the fastest‑growing companies in healthtech, and we’re just getting started.

Cadence Solutions is seeking a Product Designer to help shape its ecosystem of clinician and patient-facing products. In this role, you’ll design web and mobile applications for a diverse set of users, including patients, partner providers, and internal care teams. You’ll be responsible for crafting intuitive, scalable solutions, balancing clinical workflows, user needs, and business goals. Your work will span everything from patient-facing mobile apps, to internal clinical workflows, as well as supporting marketing experiences like emails and landing pages. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring clarity and cohesion to Cadence’s product experiences, ensuring a consistent and accessible design language across every touchpoint.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead end-to-end product design from concept through execution (user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes) across Cadence’s primary surfaces: Internal clinician, Partner provider, and patient.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions that drive outcomes.
  • Translate complex problems and workflows into intuitive and accessible user experiences.
  • Iterate and refine the multi-surface design system, patterns, and visual standards to ensure consistency across the product.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate concepts.
  • Contribute to product strategy by identifying opportunities for design-led innovation.
  • Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
  • Influence and align with leadership on design direction and prioritization.
  • Present and articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders and executives.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 4+ years of product design experience in either health care products and services or in the consumer products space.
  • Proficiency in Figma or Sketch, Adobe creative suite, and AI software for product development
  • Ability to digest and translate complex workflows into intuitive UI.
  • Understanding of web application technologies such as React, React Native, and their associated ecosystems, including how component-based architectures, state management, and responsive design principles influence user experience and design feasibility
  • Proven ability to design for multiple audiences across multi-service ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of responsive and native mobile design, with hands-on experience creating and maintaining design systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams and contribute to product strategy in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Ability to create scalable user experiences across web, mobile apps, emails, and landing pages.

WHO WE ARE:

We move fast, raise standards, and own outcomes. We hire drivers, not passengers – people who take initiative, solve problems, and sweat the details because lives depend on it. Momentum matters in healthcare where slow decisions cost lives. At Cadence, we set a high bar and back each other relentlessly to clear it. If you’re ready to do the best work of your career and make a real impact in healthcare, join us.

WHAT YOU’LL GET:

  • Cadence recognizes the unique needs of its diverse, distributed workforce and seeks to provide an inclusive work environment for its world-class clinicians and technologists.
  • Autonomy to tackle big, complex problems that matter
  • An opportunity to improve lives every single day
  • A chance to shape a category‑defining company at scale
  • Competitive total compensation and meaningful equity
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • TelaDoc (virtual primary care)
  • National and local discounts powered by TriNet
  • Unlimited PTO and paid holidays
  • Remote equipment setup and home office stipend
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • 401K and 401K match
  • Charitable Donation Match program
  • Expected compensation range: $130,000- $170,000 annual base salary plus stock options
  • Location: Remote

Cadence is committed to equal opportunity and fairness regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, nation of origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, country of citizenship, medical condition, marital or domestic partner status, family status, family care status, military or veteran status or any other basis protected by local, state or federal laws.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
