Product Designer

The user interface for AGI – Hebbia is AI that works the way you work.

Hebbia is an incredibly fast-growing Series B company with top tier investors like A16Z and already serving large financial institutions. Designed to be generally capable – it can tackle even the most complex tasks, citing answers over any amount of sources. By showing its work, Hebbia empowers users to collaborate with AI on each step and validate responses instead of blindly trusting them. Our mission is to put capable AI in the hands of 1 billion people by 2030.

Hebbia is building out a robust design team, and we’re looking for a third product designer to join our team. You’ll get work directly with cutting edge AI technology, pioneering new interface and interaction patterns. 

You’ll get to build our brand and deploy it across web, marketing, and product—collaborating directly with Hebbia’s leadership team. You’ll work with Arjun Mahesh, who leads design, and our founder George Sivulka. Checkout a snapshot of our team and design philosophy here. 

Job Description

Our technology powers firms who are running due diligence on billion-dollar deals or scouring decades of case law, who all rely on Hebbia to find unique and relevant results.

You will be on a team responsible for driving the design of our product. You will be an integral member of our Design team, working closely with cross-functional team members across engineering, product management, and customer engagement, to create user-centered designs. 

Our team works in person 5 days a week at our SoHo headquarters in NYC.

Responsibilities

1. Own the design of core product features and end-to-end user experience. 
2. Ensure that the product is intuitive, beautiful, and meets the needs of our users.
3. Collaborate with product and brand designers - as well as cross-functional teams - to define and implement holistic experiences.
4. Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
5. Contribute to the Design System and the overall design culture of Hebbia.

Who You Are

1. 3+ years of experience as a product designer.
2. Have a strong portfolio demonstrating your design process and product design skills (especially showcasing any B2B web experience)
3. Passionate & excited about AI; using new tools and methods in your workflows.
4. Proficient with Figma; Foundational CSS, HTML and Javascript a plus.
5. Autonomous and excited about taking ownership over major initiatives.
6. Extreme passion for learning, growth, and cross-functional collaboration.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is set between $130,000 and $180,000. However, adjustments outside of this range may be considered for candidates whose qualifications significantly differ from those outlined in the job description.
