Getlabs is the leading platform for at-home diagnostics.

Healthcare organizations use Getlabs to send mobile phlebotomists to patients’ homes and collect labs, vitals, and advanced diagnostics. By leveraging Getlabs, partners can improve patient adherence and close gaps in care with same-day, nationwide availability.

Our team has raised $50M from strategic investors including the two largest diagnostic laboratories in the United States, Labcorp and Quest. Getlabs’ mission is to save lives by expanding access to diagnostics for everyone.

About the role:
Are you passionate about product design and excited to own the end-to-end design of our applications? Do you want to shape the design of our web and iOS app experiences used by patients, partners, specialists, and business teams? Are you eager to define AI-enabled healthcare experiences, drive meaningful impact, and set the standard for a growing startup? If so, we'd love to meet you.

We're looking for a talented Product Designer who thrives on crafting clear, user-centered solutions. You will own the end-to-end design process, turning concepts into elegant web and iOS experiences. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional partners to define workflows, set design standards, and ensure every touchpoint is thoughtful and impactful. This is a unique opportunity to shape the end-user experience and make a real difference in healthcare access.

At Getlabs, you will:

  • Lead the design of key products with full ownership of web and mobile applications
  • Craft intuitive interfaces and engaging user experiences that resonate with our end users
  • Work hands-on across UX, UI, and AI-enabled product initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with a fast-moving, mission-driven team to explore and implement innovative solutions that drive impact for our patients, partners, and operations teams
  • Continuously refine user journeys and interactions, ensuring clarity, ease of use, and delight

What we are looking for:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience designing software products, with a compelling portfolio showcasing thoughtful, user-centered designs
  • A self-starter with an owner mindset who thrives in an early-stage startup environment with ambiguity and resource constraints
  • Experience building products with reusable component design across multiple applications
  • Strong listening skills to capture ideas from stakeholders, engineers, and the product team
  • An open mindset to feedback and the ability to take constructive criticism to improve designs

We have great benefits to make your life easier so you can focus on what you're best at:

  • Competitive salary $120K-$140K
  • Valuable stock option plan
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance options (United States Only)
  • Flexible and unlimited vacation
  • A company with a huge vision, a dynamic work environment, and a team of talented, ambitious and fun to work-with colleagues!
  • Must be a resident of the United States and a US citizen

Getlabs is an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status or other protected classes.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
