WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1
As a Product Designer, you will contribute to the evolution of our product by designing thoughtful, user-centered experiences. You will work with stakeholders across the organization and directly with customers to understand user goals and needs, then translate those insights into elegant and effective design solutions.
You will:
- Collaborate closely with product management and engineering partners to deliver products to market
- Participate in all aspects of product development, from discovery through launch
- Create clear, straightforward design solutions from ambiguous problem-sets
- Rapidly iterate at low fidelity to explore ideas, then translate into high-fidelity designs for handoff
- Partner with engineering early in your design process to refine constraints and ensure feasibility
- Ensure high-quality design implementation through close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams
- Contribute to discovery and design activities with customers and stakeholders
- Develop design artifacts (flows, wireframes, prototypes, visuals) at the right level of fidelity for each project
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system and style guides
- Share your work with fellow designers, participate in design critiques, and contribute to a supportive team culture
ABOUT YOU
You are a hands-on product designer who is curious about the problem space and comfortable navigating ambiguity. You can manage complexity, adapt your design process to the context, and balance user needs with business goals. You’re comfortable across multiple aspects of design; interaction, visual, user research and have a sense of where your strengths and passions lie. Collaboration and continuous feedback are natural parts of how you work.
- You care about both the quality of the work and the process of getting there
- You can build alignment across teams and stakeholders
- You can adapt your communication to different audiences
- You’re comfortable facilitating workshops or feedback sessions where multiple voices are heard
- You bring a growth mindset and look for opportunities to strengthen your design practice
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of experience in product design (Enterprise SaaS, healthcare industry, or healthcare data experience is a plus)
- Experience collaborating with engineering and product management teams
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work (from discovery to delivery)
COMPENSATION
This role pays $110,000 to $137,000 per year, based on experience, in addition to stock options.
