Position Summary:

Product Coordinator is responsible for the upkeep of a live operations product. Job duties also include maintaining records of a game title, checking for fan feedbacks, and ensuring the accuracy of the information handled. If you wish, this position may have a path towards becoming an Associate Producer.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Primary liaison between the Japanese development teams and GungHo America’s production team for a live operations title.
  • Responsible for monitoring product updates and maintenances.
  • Request information required for social media and marketing efforts.
  • Share fan feedback with Japanese development teams.
  • Accurately translate informational material from written Japanese to English and vice versa. 
  • Provide feedback on marketing materials.
  • Check accuracy of in-game messaging.
  • Check accuracy of messaging on all official channels.
  • Provide a helpful presence for the fans.
  • Create proposals for tournaments, giveaways, and merchandise at live events.
  • Assist with KPI data analysis.  
  • Ensure correct timings of messages, announcements, and reveals.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Must be business-level proficiency in English and in Japanese (both written and verbal).
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One to two years of localization experience in the same or a similar role preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for business as needed.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and late-night shifts when required. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Strong eagerness to learn and grow in the video game industry. 
  • Passion for games! 

Pluses:

  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and handling video equipment.
  • Marketing knowledge or a related background.
  • Experience working on mobile free-to-play titles and operating live ops games.
  • A proven track record of generating results in a data-driven environment.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.

Business Hours: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm in Pacific Time.
Please note that working hours may vary depending on the team. For example, some teams may work 11:00 am – 8:00 pm Monday through Thursday, and 10:00 am – 7:00 pm on Fridays.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $56,000
