ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Product Business Analyst (Alternative Investments and Mutual Funds) will develop business strategies, optimize operations, and ensure regulatory compliance. You'll analyze data, collaborate across teams, and design efficient processes to support internal stakeholders and clients managing complex alternative investments and mutual funds.
Duties/Responsibilities

Data-Driven Strategy: Collect, analyze, and report data to guide business strategy, trends, and performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Compliance, Technology, Legal, and Operations teams to align workflows with organizational goals.

Process Design: Evaluate and improve workflows for investment products like private equity, hedge funds, and mutual funds with a focus on automation and risk controls.

Compliance Management: Update processes and procedures in response to regulatory changes and establish internal controls for compliance.

Client Engagement: Deliver insights and recommendations to clients and leadership, assisting in complex investment challenges.

Continuous Improvement: Identify tools, technology, and trends to improve organizational capabilities in alternative investments and mutual funds.
Education and/or Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) required

2+ years of experience in business/financial analysis, mutual funds, or alternative investments.

FINRA SIE and Series 7 Licenses required (or willingness to obtain)
Required Skills/Abilities
-
Advanced Excel proficiency, familiarity with SQL, and experience with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Practical knowledge of Confluence and JIRA.

Strong analytical capabilities for interpreting large datasets and actionable problem-solving.

Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to present insights clearly to senior stakeholders.

Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Flexible mindset adaptable to innovation, ambiguity, and changing priorities.
