Role Overview:

The Product Analyst will be a key player in driving Duckbill’s product strategy and development. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will own and maintain the operations of our product organization. You will be responsible for building dashboards, analyzing experiments, developing rollout plans, writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and ensuring close collaboration and communication across departments. Your role will involve both quantitative and qualitative analysis to gather user feedback and make data-driven decisions that push the business forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dashboards:
    • Own and maintain dashboards to monitor and analyze the performance of new features, rollouts, and user engagement.
    • Use dashboard insights to inform product strategy and decision-making.
  • Artifact Development: 
    • Write clear and compelling requirements and perspectives to guide product development and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure PRDs are effectively implemented.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration:
    • Work closely with operations, tech, design, and product teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
    • Facilitate coordination across departments to drive the successful launch and iteration of new features.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Dive into both quantitative and qualitative data to extract actionable insights.
    • Use data to support product decisions and contribute to the overall product strategy.
  • User Feedback:
    • Gather and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
    • Translate feedback into product enhancements that resonate with our user base.
  • Strategic Initiatives:
    • Participate in strategic projects that combine data analysis with product development to enhance user experience and engagement.
    • Assist in setting product goals and KPIs, and track progress against these metrics.
What We Look For:
  • Drive: We’re looking for someone who is excited about immersing themselves in the nuances of product development in a fast moving environment focused on real world applications of AI.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable product insights.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong data analysis skills. SQL or the PyData stack is a plus!
    • Comfort with PRD writing and familiarity with product management processes.
  • Communication: Ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive process optimization and innovation.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Engage in user research activities to gather qualitative insights.
  • Develop and present data-driven reports and visualizations to stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor product performance and recommend improvements based on data and user feedback.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or similarly qualified area.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a tech or AI-driven company.
