This team acts as a bridge between investment teams, shared services, and clients, supporting the firm’s equity products. The Product Analyst will be critical for generating competitive analysis, investment writing for client reporting and marketing collateral, as well as analyzing and interpreting quantitative data to develop insights into how to best position the firm’s products to grow the business. This role is a member of the Product Intelligence Team and will work closely with all Product Specialists, with the goal of eventually owning a set of products as a Product Specialist.

This role is a member of the Product Intelligence Team and will work closely with all Product Specialists, with the goal of eventually owning a set of products as a Product Specialist.
What You Will Do:
- Support and/or lead a variety of product positioning initiatives (often simultaneously), including content generation and development (e.g., commentary, white papers, thought pieces, etc.), as well as ad-hoc qualitative or quantitative analysis for internal and external requests.
- Provide clients, prospects and internal parties with timely and accurate written communications, portfolio reporting and investment writing for Requests for Proposal (RFP) related to the firm’s equity product lines.
- Drive product strategy in partnership with product specialists, marketing, and distribution teams by proposing and conducting quantitative research into client and prospect investment trends and behavior.
- Understand the prospect distribution and marketing ecosystem to help support competitive product positioning and distribution efforts.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and collaborate with various internal teams on projects and business initiatives impacting equity product lines and supporting business priorities.
- 5+ years of relevant financial services work experience.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with a major in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting.
- Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred, or willingness to obtain.
- Progress towards CFA designation is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and other technical tools, with strong mathematical and quantitative skills.
- Working knowledge and experience with a variety of capital markets software applications and analytics tools, such as: Bloomberg, eVestment, FactSet, MPI Stylus Pro, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and conciseness.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with outstanding attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with a team, as well as execute responsibilities independently.
