FOX 5/KUSI is seeking a talented, innovative Supervising Producer for Nexstar's powerful duopoly in beautiful San Diego. Winning candidate will thrive on capturing the audience using creative marketing tactics and compelling content that breaks through on both broadcast and digital.
This Creative Services position supports both news and sales and requires strengths in writing and producing, directing, lighting, shooting and editing projects from start to finish. Primary Duties:
Implement news, community and sales promotional efforts under fast deadlines for two stations
Create polished, on-brand marketing spots for KUSI and FOX 5 including image, topical and POP promos
Support multiple sales productions at once using station's workflow management system
Produce, shoot and edit packages for lifestyle program, The LOCAList SD.
Collaborate on strategy and supervise implementation of the department's marketing plans
Perform other duties as directed by Creative Services Director
Skills & Abilities:
Strong writing, shooting and editing talent a must
Comfortable with live studio production, experienced with on-location lighting and sound, Sony Cinema cameras and Adobe software
Keen interest in contributing and working as a key member of an enthusiastic, collaborative team
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Broadcasting or Journalism preferred or equivalent work experience.

Compensation - $78,000-$83,000 commensurate with experience and skill level
