Job Summary

Create, analyze, and evaluate producer compliance and compensation transactions and processes related to specific products for Employee Benefits, Individual Disability Insurance, Annuities, and Retirement Plans. Review and approve contracting applications and ensure accurate and timely processing of producer compensation in multiple source systems.  Serve as a resource on producer compliance and compensation administration issues and process improvements.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Production/Customer Service: Serve as initial point of entry for all producer licensing and compensation information.   Submit requests to management for granting exceptions to contract applications and/or commission structures that do not meet set qualifications.  Respond to and identify the right course of action or resources to a wide variety of customer service needs via the 800 line and email alias.

  • Relationship Management: Work effectively with internal and external customers through negotiation, communication, and problem resolution regarding producer compliance issues and compensation program administration.

  • Training: Responsible for cross-training existing staff and onboarding of new employees.

  • Process Improvements: Participate in special projects, assignments, and process improvements.

Skills and Background You’ll Need

  • Experience: 2-4 years of related work experience with emphasis in contracts, accounting, customer service, and/or insurance, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.

    • Ability to work with MS Outlook and Excel.

    • Ability to calculate complicated commission arrangements using mathematical and analytical skills.

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • FLMI, ACS preferred.

*The target compensation for this role is ~$25/hour

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range:

20.55 - 28.61
