At HSI, we’re on a mission to bring workplace safety and compliance training to life. As a Producer I, you’ll play a key role in designing and building engaging eLearning experiences using our proprietary authoring tool. You'll contribute to both the technical production and creative design of course content—sometimes supporting short-form animations and multimedia elements that make learning more interactive and effective.

You’ll join a collaborative, feedback-driven media production team working on a mix of projects ranging from course localization to animated, narrative-driven training modules. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves balancing creativity with structure, enjoys teamwork, and thrives in fast-paced environments.

Location: Remote within continental US. 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30a-3:30p PST

Why this role Matters

As a Producer I, you’ll:

  • Transform storyboards and concepts into fully functional, visually compelling learning modules.
  • Build and update courses using our internal course authoring tool, including translation into 16 languages using automated tools.
  • Occasionally support animated course elements, including short instructional videos and character-driven storylines.
  • Work cross-functionally with project managers, instructional designers, and fellow producers to deliver content that’s polished, impactful, and learner-friendly.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Build, translate, and edit e-learning courses using JSON-based proprietary tools.
  • Use HTML for basic code operations (copy/paste level).
  • Support course development including layout, visuals, and functional interactivity.
  • Provide visual assets and animations for select course projects.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to brainstorm creative solutions and troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist in media production such as stock photo modification, basic audio editing, and animation design.
  • Participate in structured onboarding and skill development to ramp up proficiency in tools and workflows.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience with online course development, processes, and LMSs is highly desired
  • Demonstrated proficiency in production applications, including the Microsoft, Google, and Creative Cloud suites as well as Articulate Storyline 360
  • 3D animation, graphic design, and motion graphic skills, with the ability to bring the written vision to life
  • An Associate’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience or equivalent 4+ years of experience 
  • 2+ years of experience in content production, multimedia, or eLearning development (or 4+ years equivalent experience)
  • Being bilingual is a plus (i.e. Spanish, French Canadian)
