Company Overview

Wolf Games is a cutting-edge studio leveraging AI to expand beloved content worlds into full-fledged universes across games, podcasts, newsletters, and vertical video. Our founders have a rich history of creating hit TV series, leading media groups at Twitter and NextVR, and building genre-defining generative art platforms. We're at the forefront of combining innovative AI technologies with creative industries to redefine interactive storytelling. Our flagship title, Public Eye, an AI-driven crime game, launches later this year.

Job Description

We are seeking a Producer to own execution and delivery across Wolf Games’ AI-first mobile titles. This role is responsible for ensuring projects move from idea to playable prototype to live, scalable operations with clarity, speed, and discipline.

The ideal candidate is an experienced game producer who is comfortable being hands-on as a member of a small team. You will work closely with Engineering, Creative, Game Design, and Product teams to align scope, priorities, and timelines while maintaining momentum and quality. This role requires strong operational judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to balance creative ambition with real-world constraints.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Own end-to-end production across all Wolf Games titles, from early ideation through prototype, launch, and live operations
  • Build and maintain roadmaps, milestone plans, and sprint cadences that make priorities, ownership, and tradeoffs clear
  • Run cross-functional production rituals including planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Ensure alignment between Creative Direction, Game Design, Engineering, and Product so game vision and mechanics remain integrated
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and scope creep early and drive clear mitigation strategies
  • Own game release readiness processes including QA coordination, build validation, rollout planning, and postmortems
  • Support live service operations by coordinating content drops, feature releases, bug fix windows, and iteration cycles informed by player data
  • Oversee external partners and outsourcing teams to ensure quality, timelines, and integration with internal workflows
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in game production, with shipped titles (mobile and web-based preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex development pipelines
  • Strong planning, scoping, and prioritization skills with a bias toward shipping
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working with agile or hybrid development methodologies
  • Solid understanding of game development pipelines and engine constraints
  • Experience operating in startup or small-team environments
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience working with generative AI tools and processes
  • Experience running production with Linear
  • Agile/Scrum Certification
Benefits
  • Competitive Compensation: The base pay for this role is $35-45 per hour, depending on experience, with a planned 40 hours per week. We highly value transparency and offering competitive pay, based on current market research and employee experience level.
  • Flexible Work Environment: Enjoy the flexibility and adventure that comes from being self-directed at a startup.
  • Remote Work: 100% fully remote position.
  • Professional Growth: Opportunity to establish the project management practice at Wolf Games and lead the group as it expands.
  • Innovative Technologies: Work with the latest technologies and self-defining software.
Additional Information
  • Start Date: Position available immediately.
  • Reporting Structure: This role reports directly to the Chief Creative Officer.
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must have authorization to work in their country of residence, as we are a fully remote company.
  • Equal Opportunity Employer: Wolf Games is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.

Join us at Wolf Games and be part of a team that's redefining the boundaries of content and technology. If you're passionate about innovation and eager to make a significant impact across diverse product lines, we'd love to hear from you!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
