We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in New York. This is a strategic and dynamic role within a fast growing tech company, with global procurement responsibility. The role involves end-to-end procurement management, strategic sourcing, and building long-term partnerships with international suppliers and service providers.
As a Procurement Specialist, you will work closely with Finance & Legal teams. You will take part in all aspects of the procurement process and play an integral role in ensuring the company stays within budget and operates profitably. Your day to day will involve sourcing new vendors, handling negotiations, managing relationships with existing vendors, and interfacing with practically every team at monday.com on their procurement needs.
We are looking for someone who thrives under pressure and has high attention to detail. You will work with business partners to develop new and creative strategies as well as demonstrate excellent organizational, exceptional multitasking, negotiation and teamwork skills.
Please note that this is a hybrid position of 3 days/week in our NYC office.
About The Role
- Manage end-to-end global strategic procurement processes in the tech environment.
- Lead complex negotiations with local and international suppliers.
- Assess business needs, develop sourcing strategies, and provide optimal procurement solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Operations, HR) to drive business value.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensure compliance with KPIs, and maintain high service and quality standards.
Requirements
- 4+ years of proven experience in procurement, preferably within tech companies.
- Strong background in global strategic procurement and sourcing processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement management tools.
- Excellent negotiation skills and strong business acumen.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field - required.
- Advantage: Experience in procurement across Operations, HR, and global services.

Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of New York City may differ based on the cost of labor and such additional factors for such other locations.
