Core Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure the best value, quality, and reliability
- Negotiate, draft, and manage vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards
- Lead contract and pricing negotiations to achieve favorable terms, cost savings, and win outcomes with suppliers
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs without compromising quality or timelines
- Foster strong relationships with key suppliers and resolve any disputes or performance issues effectively
- Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and industry developments to inform purchasing strategies
- Streamline and improve procurement workflows, systems, and policies
- Assess and mitigate risks in the supply chain, ensuring business continuity
- Analyze procurement data to provide actionable insights and inform strategic decisions
Skills and Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel)
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus but not required
