We are seeking a Procurement Contracts Specialist to join our Procurement Team. Our team manages supplier sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier performance. Our team’s mission is to achieve the best value for Discord by partnering with suppliers that meet our business requirements and growth objectives. This role will be responsible for managing procurement contracts and will collaborate closely with employees, cross-functional partners (Legal, Finance, IT, Engineering), and suppliers. This person will report to Head of Procurement.

What you'll be doing:

  • Act as the main point of contact for procurement contracts across a variety of contract types (MSAs, SOWs, SaaS Subscription Agreements, Order Forms, Technology Evaluation Agreements, Contingent Worker Agreements)
  • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers
  • Perform contract reviews and contract redlining. Draft redlines in accordance with our preferred positions and playbooks.
  • Utilize contracts management system to administer contracts
  • Maintain contract renewal tracking mechanisms
  • Edit and contribute to contract playbooks
  • Identify cost savings opportunities 
  • Manage stakeholder relationships

What you should have:

  • Experience reviewing, redlining, and negotiating supplier contracts across a variety of categories, including technology contracts for IT and Engineering teams
  • Experience utilizing contracts management systems (e.g. Lexion, Ironclad)
  • Experience working with and contributing to contract playbooks

Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties). Relocation assistance may be available.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000 to $148,500 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, or benefits.
