As a Procurement Analyst I, manage supplier onboarding, create purchase orders, and resolve invoice issues while supporting the procure-to-pay process.
FloQast is looking for a Procurement Analyst to support the company's full procure-to-pay (P2P) process. In this entry-level role, you’ll manage supplier onboarding, create purchase orders, resolve invoice issues, and help negotiate low-risk contracts under $50K. Ideal for someone early in their career with experience using Coupa or a similar P2P tool.
*Please note this will be a 1099 fixed term US based remote contract
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end procurement lifecycle in Coupa, including supplier onboarding, requisition review, purchase order creation, contract execution, and invoice troubleshooting
- Guide business stakeholders through FloQast’s decentralized purchasing process, ensuring compliance with procurement and finance policies
- Communicate directly with vendors to obtain quotes, pricing, and documentation
- Negotiate pricing and terms for low-risk vendor agreements (typically <$50,000)
- Review order forms, proposals, and SOWs for completeness and alignment with internal processes
- Route agreements for security, privacy, finance, and legal review as needed
- Maintain accurate and organized supplier records and documentation
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience
- Any other tasks that may be assigned to help the company meet its goals
What You'll Bring
- 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, finance operations, or a similar role
- Hands-on experience with a P2P tool like Coupa, SAP Ariba, NetSuite, or Oracle
- Understanding of the procurement lifecycle — from supplier setup to invoice payment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
- Professional communication skills and ability to work with both internal teams and external vendors
- Self-starter mentality with a desire to learn and grow within procurement
Nice To Haves/Other
- Experience negotiating small-scale vendor agreements or reviewing vendor documentation
- Familiarity with software, SaaS, or professional services purchasing
- Exposure to security/privacy workflows and contract lifecycle tools (e.g., Lexion, DocuSign CLM)
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, or a related field
