Process Engineering Manager

Duties for this position include:

  • Managing the portfolio of R&D, yield improvement, and capacity improvement projects; drive process engineering team to on-time delivery of key milestones
  • Working with management to generate technology roadmap to enable future products
  • Mentoring process engineers on best practices for process development, experimental design, data analysis, root cause analysis and problem solving.
  • Develop staffing plans, assign projects and balance resource workload.
  • Define, establish, monitor and report key performance metrics to meet manufacturing objectives. Ensuring the KPIs and key goals are achieved, and that manufacturing capacity meets the established plan
  • Interfacing with the engineering group identify opportunities for new equipment to enable improved yield, capacity and capability
  • Developing and implementing metrology methods to measure tool health and process performance data
  • Manage internal and external process and quality escalations
  • Recruit process engineers and technicians and build out the team to support a growing manufacturing organization

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
  • 7+ yields of hands-on experience working in a high volume manufacturing or equivalent environment preferred
  • Solid background in statistical methods, systematic experiment design, and related software (e.g. JMP, Minitab, etc.)
  • Must have the ability to analytically evaluate data and information, use progressive problem-solving methods and implement solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively and efficiently communicate in oral and written forms at any level within the organization and interact effectively with customers and external business partners
  • Strong program/project management, leadership, team building, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to prioritize activities and to remain flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Plusses:

  • 3+ years of experiencing managing a process engineering or related organization
  • Prior start-up experience

Physical Demands – Office and Manufacturing Environment  

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms and pull/push; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. 

Work Environment –   

Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and a shop environment, with exposure to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, nuisance dust, and skin exposure to chemicals used to run/maintain machines 

PPE- 

May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, bump-caps, gloves, hair nets, masks, & clean-room frocks while adhering to the prescribed safety procedures 

 

The base pay is just one part of CelLink's total compensation package and is determined within a range. The pay range is designed to support your career progression as you learn, grow, and develop within your role. Your base pay range will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

$140,000$190,000 USD
