Job Summary:

Ruggable is seeking two (2) Process Engineer's with expertise in manufacturing quality and equipment reliability to support our production operations. This role is critical in ensuring high product consistency and compliance with customer and industry standards. A key focus will be on reducing color variation and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process performance and reliability across the manufacturing network.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead manufacturing quality process control and compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and sustain quality and maintenance systems to drive production consistency and equipment reliability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, QA, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to conduct root cause analyses and corrective action implementation (RCA/CAPA)
  • Drive process control improvements and reduce visual and dimensional variation (especially color) through standard work and operator training
  • Analyze production and maintenance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
  • Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC methodologies to lead and support ongoing improvement projects
  • Monitor and report on KPIs related to quality and equipment reliability performance

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or related) or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering with emphasis on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems and tools (FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, 8D, etc.)
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Minitab, JMP, Excel)
  • Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Candidate must be local to one of our three manufacturing facilities (Gardena, CA, Bedford Park, IL, or Charlotte, NC) 

Preferred: 

  • Experience reducing color variation or managing visually critical product attributes
  • Experience implementing and maintaining CMMS and maintenance systems
  • Familiarity with retail compliance and industry certifications (e.g., ISO)

Compensation:

  • $85,000 - $110,000 per year base salary
  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
  • Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
