As a Process Control Engineer, you'll oversee MEMS fabrication processes, analyze performance, implement solutions, and ensure quality control in production.
Summary:
Atomica is looking for a driven engineer to join our Process Control team. You'll provide key oversight and engineering support to keep our MEMS foundry running smoothly. This is a high impact role that includes close collaboration with the fab operations team to perform root cause analysis, resolve discrepancies, maintain in-spec products and use statistical process control and metrology tools to verify tool capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to work on a high mix of cutting-edge MEMS devices and AI automated inspection techniques in a growing organization.
This position will provide engineering-level coverage on our 2nd shift, 4 days per week Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-3:00am.
Objectives:
- Develop, implement, and monitor wafer fabrication processes, including operating metrology, lithography, vacuum, electroplating, and wet etch systems for MEMS product development and production
- Create process flows and design engineering solutions to optimize manufacturing processes
- Edit and maintain technical documentation and training materials
- Analyze process performance using observational data and measurements to improve efficiency, output, and safety
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure quality control and meet manufacturing objectives
- Serve as the shift lead for production programs to ensure alignment on lot movement and manufacturing targets
Capabilities:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
- Hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication, including metrology, lithography, etch, cleans, or thin films
- Proficient in data analysis with strong critical thinking skills
- Working knowledge of SPC for statistical process control and data analysis
- Attention to detail, teamwork, work ethic and communication skills
- Lean Six Sigma qualification (preferred)
- Knowledge of Labview (preferred)
- Background in electrical testing and yield analysis
- Must be a US Persons under ITAR (citizen, green card holder, refugee, or asylum seeker).

Compensation:
$90,000 - $140,000
