Summary:
 
Atomica is looking for a driven engineer to join our Process Control team. You'll provide key oversight and engineering support to keep our MEMS foundry running smoothly. This is a high impact role that includes close collaboration with the fab operations team to perform root cause analysis, resolve discrepancies, maintain in-spec products and use statistical process control and metrology tools to verify tool capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to work on a high mix of cutting-edge MEMS devices and AI automated inspection techniques in a growing organization.
 
This position is to provide engineering-level coverage on the weekend 4 days per week from Friday - Monday.
 
Objectives:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor wafer fabrication processes, including operating metrology, lithography, vacuum, electroplating, and wet etch systems for MEMS product development and production
  • Create process flows and design engineering solutions to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Edit and maintain technical documentation and training materials
  • Analyze process performance using observational data and measurements to improve efficiency, output, and safety
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure quality control and meet manufacturing objectives
  • Serve as the shift lead for production programs to ensure alignment on lot movement and manufacturing targets
 
Capabilities:
  • Master’s degree in any Engineering discipline, Physics, Chemistry, or a related physical science field, or bachelor's degree with industry experience
  • Hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication, including metrology, lithography, etch, cleans, or thin films
  • Proficient in data analysis with strong critical thinking skills
  • Working knowledge of SPC for statistical process control and data analysis
  • Attention to detail, teamwork, work ethic and communication skills
  • Lean Six Sigma qualification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Labview (preferred)
  • Background in electrical testing and yield analysis (preferred)
  • Must be a US Persons under ITAR (citizen, green card holder, refugee, or asylum seeker).

Compensation:

$85,000 - $100,000
