Trueline's client, a fast-moving litigation-focused law firm, is seeking a Probate Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Encino, CA (onsite). This is an urgent, trial-to-hire opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in probate matters who can step in quickly, contribute immediately, and grow into a long-term role.
What You'll Do as the Probate Litigation Paralegal:
- Support attorneys with probate litigation matters including trust disputes, conservatorships, and contested estates
- Draft, file, and manage legal documents such as petitions, motions, and court filings
- Coordinate case calendars, deadlines, and court appearances
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Assist with discovery, case preparation, and document management
- Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court procedures
Must-Haves as the Probate Litigation Paralegal:
- 3-5 years of experience in California probate litigation
- Strong familiarity with trusts, wills, conservatorships, and related proceedings
- Experience drafting motions, petitions, and legal filings
- Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Encino, CA
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
Nice-to-Haves as the Probate Litigation Paralegal:
- Experience using CLEO or similar legal case management software
- Prior experience in a small or mid-sized litigation firm environment
- Junior attorney candidates with relevant probate experience will be considered
