Job Description
The Private Bank Commercial Real Estate (\"CRE\") Group team will be responsible for driving commercial real estate credit origination in the US lending portfolio, by developing and executing on the strategic vision for the product, acting as the subject matter expert and providing clients strategic advice on Commercial Real Estate Solutions. The CRE team works with the markets and extends credit solutions to commercial real estate owners and investors across the US. The team is deeply involved in structuring the transaction, supporting underwriters with analysis, advising the client, negotiating with clients and running the end-to-end process from the initial pitch to closing a deal for CRE reliant transactions. The CRE Group is a subset of the PB Lending Solutions group, which provides credit solutions across a variety of needs to a range of high net worth individuals, their family offices, and their organizations.

Job Responsibilities:
- The Lending Solutions Commercial Real Estate Specialist will be responsible for driving commercial real estate credit origination in the US lending portfolio, by developing and executing on the strategic vision for the product, acting as the subject matter expert and providing clients strategic advice on Commercial Real Estate Solutions.
- Partner with U.S. Lending Advisors and coverage Bankers to identify and execute financing opportunities with clients and prospects
- Educate U.S. Lending Advisors and market integrated team members on product value proposition, basic product features and client selection; share success stories and ideas to replicate winning themes and transactions across markets
- Develop initiatives and campaigns to drive growth
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of market standards, competition and pricing;
- Forge strong relationship with Credit Risk; and assist in credit policy and guideline changes
- Monitor portfolio risk and recommend policy or practice changes in connection with market conditions, portfolio related issues or regulatory compliance
- Partner with credit underwriting to ensure proper resources to facilitate the credit approval process, business and financial analysis, due diligence and portfolio review maintenance
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Ten+ years experience in highly-structured custom credit loan products
- Expert knowledge and experience in executing Commercial Real Estate transactions
- Highly proficient knowledge of financial and capital markets
- Credit trained, with advanced business and financial analytical skills
- Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate account maintenance, loan closing, credit administration and compliance procedures
- Ability to communicate and recommend advice-driven credit solutions to highly sophisticated ultra-high net worth clients and prospects
- Sales experience including: prospecting, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale and asking for referrals
- Demonstrates understanding of wealth management including investment management, trusts and financial planning
- Ability to work in a team based environment and assist in the development and retention of junior team members
- Series 7, Series 66
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- CRE financing knowledge and/ or PB lending experience a plus
