$157,000.00 - $334,000.00 a year

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated engineer to join the DRAM Systems Engineering team, focusing on the design, evaluation, and optimization of next-generation memory systems for AI accelerators. The role emphasizes research and development across hardware architecture, operating systems, and performance analysis to support AI inference workloads.
Responsibilities
- Characterize AI inference workloads and analyze memory behavior
- Design and evaluate tiered memory hierarchies for AI accelerators
- Study KV cache lifecycles, MoE models, and data placement strategies
- Compare and optimize explicit versus hardware-assisted data movement
- Develop, test, debug, and document system-level and OS components
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong background in memory systems, operating systems, distributed systems, or parallel computing
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python with hands-on systems programming experience
- Experience working in Linux environments, including shell scripting and debugging tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with advanced memory technologies such as HBM and LPDDR
- Familiarity with AI/ML systems, particularly inference workloads
- Experience with GPU programming frameworks such as CUDA or OpenCL
- Knowledge of performance analysis and system-level optimization techniques
- Experience with Linux kernel memory management or system-level simulation models
