We are seeking an exceptional Principal Product Manager, EU Expansion to drive SkyTab international growth and expansion across Europe. This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role focused on unlocking new markets through deep product and regulatory localization. The ideal candidate combines strategic product leadership with operational rigor and is passionate about building scalable, market-specific solutions that drive adoption and long-term market leadership.

You will lead our expansion country-by-country, identifying the product, compliance, partner, and commercial requirements unique to each geography and translating those into actionable product roadmaps. This role requires strong collaboration with development, strategy, operations, commercial and partner teams to prioritize, launch, and scale our offerings across Europe.

Location: Flexible within the EU (EU Shift4 location preferred or hybrid remote)

Responsibilities

  • EU Product Expansion Strategy: Define and lead Shift4’s EU expansion roadmap, developing a country-by-country strategy that addresses localization, regulatory, tax, fiscal compliance, and functional needs for each market.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Own the full product lifecycle for EU expansion initiatives from initial discovery and opportunity sizing through go-to-market execution and post-launch growth.
  • Cross-Border Compliance & Readiness: Partner closely with development, strategy, and commercial teams to ensure all product solutions meet country-specific requirements (e.g., VAT, eInvoicing, fiscalization).
    Market Prioritization: Build data-informed frameworks to assess market opportunities and establish clear prioritization across competing expansion paths.
  • Roadmap Development & Execution: Develop actionable product roadmaps that reflect both long-term strategic goals and near-term business wins..
  • Partner & Integration Strategy: Identify and manage key partner integrations (e.g., online ordering, back office, fiscal compliance tools, etc) required to successfully enter and operate in new countries.
  • Voice of the Market: Conduct deep discovery across markets, engaging with prospective merchants, partners, and local teams to uncover critical product gaps and success drivers.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the connective tissue across regional and global teams ensuring alignment, communication, and delivery excellence throughout the expansion journey.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with a strong track record in launching and scaling global SaaS or fintech products.
  • Deep understanding of European regulatory environments, tax systems, and compliance frameworks (e.g., VAT, fiscal printers, e-invoicing).
  • Proven ability to define and deliver cross-market product strategies in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Experience working with in-market commercial teams and navigating local product-market fit.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with international partner integrations and third-party platforms.
  • Passion for building and scaling global products that solve complex local problems.
