Job Description

Job Title: Principals, Software Development

Job Location: Irvine, CA

Job Type: Full Time

Rate of Pay: $184,558 to $226,800/yr

Job Duties: Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise software systems, including warehouse management systems integrated with SAP and Mainframe IBM platforms. Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions using structured development methodologies. Architect and code warehouse management software modules ranging from utilities to complex applications including integration to third party MHS vendors and API calls to various external systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.  Conduct and evaluate design reviews, peer code reviews, system integration, performance optimization, and automation across application layers including database, middleware, and front-end components. Refactor and enhance existing warehouse management systems to improve scalability, maintainability, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, development teams, and support functions to ensure cohesive solution delivery for the warehouse management systems. Provide technical leadership on assigned projects, enhancements, and production support tasks. Review and validate test plans to ensure traceability between design, code, and testing. Identify and mitigate technical risks during the software development lifecycle. Support production issue resolution and defect fixes across environments. Apply SDM and Agile methodologies across the SDLC using Atlassian Jira and Confluence for planning, tracking, and collaboration. Attend regular team meetings to contribute to project planning, issue resolution, and technical discussions. Stay current with emerging technologies by reviewing technical journals, manuals, and participating in training programs.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 12 years in a job offered or in a computer systems engineer/architect-related occupation.
