We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in San Francisco, CA for our hybrid working model.

You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Developer Relations, and MongoDB Ventures to deliver real value to early-stage founders and reinforce MongoDB’s position as the go-to data platform for AI-native startups.

What you will be doing
  • Serve as a key member of MongoDB Ventures GTM in helping to drive overall MongoDB growth in the VC and startup ecosystem
  • Design and execute go-to-market strategies for the assigned startup territory
  • Drive engagement within the startup community, particularly focusing on technical decision makers and founders
  • Build strong relationships with founders, investors, developers, and technical architects to (1) win net-new customers in the startup ecosystem (2) explore and establish strategic partnerships (3) drive top-line revenue
  • Develop and maintain deep understanding of MongoDB products, competitors, and partner products
  • Participate in sales enablement training, including Sales Bootcamp, ongoing sales training, and leadership and development programs
Who You Are
  • 5+ years of quota carrying field experience in a fast-paced and competitive market, ideally selling technically complex products
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and coachability 
  • Strong history of identifying and building new champions within your customer-base, and running a complex sales process
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts and technical pain into business value
  • Drive and competitive with a strong desire to be successful
  • Must live in territory and be willing to be in office 3 days per week

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

$67,000$132,000 USD
