Job Duties:
Design, architect and implement micro services utilizing deep understanding of our product requirements, usage patterns, and real-world deployment scenarios to develop solutions that will bring value to our customers. Build software solutions that meet both functional and non- functional requirements such as scalability, performance, fault-tolerance, and disaster recovery. Writing thorough tests, conducting code reviews, and creating robust documentation. Auto-scale, optimize and automate various development processes. Partner with other cross team leaders from business stakeholders, product management, project/program requirements, security, Quality Assurance, and Infrastructure. Help identify and develop ways to improve the team's productivity and efficiency by expanding on existing tools and processes. Mentor engineers as they develop their software development skills.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field and 5 years of experience in the offered position or closely related. Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be quantified by time.
- Required expertise/knowledge includes: Fluent in Java / .Net
- AWS cloud technologies (including EC2, S3, lambda, docker) or equivalent including Azure or GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
- Building web applications, APIs & backend systems
- Experience with Database Design and Development
- Experience with Service Oriented and Microservice architectures
- Experienced building CI/CD pipeline
- Experience with Kafka, Elastic Search, NoSQL, RDBMS, and Github
- Experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns
Full-time: 40 hours/week Salary: $177,029 - $231,100 / year
