We foster resourcefulness by empowering our team members with the autonomy and confidence to solve problems independently while providing collaborative support when needed. The Challenge
Teramind protects 10,000+ organizations from insider threats by analyzing billions of behavioral events daily. We're scaling to 100,000 customers, and our data platform needs to scale with us—without falling over at 3AM or burning through our cloud budget.
This isn't a Python job. It's a "make massive amounts of data queryable in under 2 seconds" job. Python happens to be what we use today.
What You'll Own
• Architecture that handles 10x growth without 10x complexity
• Making 5 engineers as effective as 15 through better tools and patterns
• Building systems that self-heal so you can actually sleep
• Turning "we need better analytics" into actual solutions
• Choosing our next database, framework, or approach—and teaching us why
Could you solve these example issues?
• Customer dashboard queries hit 45-second timeouts on Monday mornings
• A "quick fix" data migration has been running for 3 weeks
• Third-party API changes broke 40% of integrations
• Compliance wants 7-year retention. How do companies comply without storage fees going through the roof?
What We Care About
✓ You ship. Perfection is the enemy of progress.
✓ You simplify. Your solutions make complex problems feel obvious.
✓ You teach. Your code reviews educate instead of criticize.
✓ You learn. New database? You figure it out.
✓ You own. If it's broken, you fix it.
