Job Description:

The remote-hybrid Principal Program Manager will oversee complex, large-scale projects, manage cross-functional teams, ensure stakeholder alignment, and drive project completion while mentoring team members and optimizing processes. Responsibilities include stakeholder collaboration, resource planning, and risk management, requiring a strong grasp of project methodologies, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for complex large-scale projects. Drives projects/programs from original concept through final implementation, managing the deliverables of other Project Managers and team members. Partners and collaborates with stakeholders throughout the business unit to gain consensus and drive project completion. May participate in vendor selection at the program level and manages the integration of vendor tasks, tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables. Develops processes across programs and ensures consistent implementation.

  • Consult with management to determine goals, negotiate roadmaps, funding limitations, staffing requirements and allotment of resources. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports. Conducts and leads project meetings and is responsible for project tracking, analysis and problem resolution.

  • Partners with internal and external customers, business partners, and others to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs related to the project, driving results.

  • Mentor, train and develop other team members. Guide project managers assigned to programs. Monitor deliverables of key milestones. Collaborate with project managers to ensure on time, quality delivery.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Master of Business Administration Degree preferred.

  • Certification in a related project management discipline preferred.

  • 10+ years of directly related project management experience.

  • Thorough understanding of current technologies and methodologies to plan and communicate effectively with project team and sponsors.

  • Leadership skills combined with determination and persuasion.

  • Proven track record of success with:

    • Risk management.

    • Managing multiple projects or large projects with complex interdependencies.

    • Developing and managing complex project budgets.

    • Facilitating meetings with complex, cross functional and distributed teams.

    • Implementing project management methodologies, techniques, and tools and applying them to business and technical environments.

  • Analytical ability sufficient to understand user requirements to develop quantitative status reports and identify or quantify issues and risks.

  • Oral communication skills sufficient to explain business needs to stakeholders and team members.

  • Written communication skills sufficient to create complex program/project plans and other project documentation.

Annual Pay Range:

127,100 - 175,000 USD
