Job Description
Nexthink isn't just a software company. We created and lead the Digital Employee Experience (DEX) category - and now we're looking for a storyteller and strategist who can help us take it to the next level. This is your opportunity to own the narratives that define an entire market, connect complex technology to C-level priorities, and bring our platform to life in ways that inspire action. If you can turn product features into movements and messaging into moments, we want to talk. We're looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of our product positioning, messaging, and storytelling strategy for Nexthink's DEX solutions. You'll be responsible for translating complex technology into inspiring narratives that resonate with our audiences-from IT leaders to the C-suite-and drive engagement, demand, and revenue.
What You'll Own:
  • Amplify Nexthink's role as the DEX leader to analysts, press, partners, and executive audiences.
  • Build persona-based narratives that resonate from IT ops to the CIO suite, connecting emotional hooks to business-critical outcomes.
  • Craft positioning that differentiates Nexthink and elevates our entire portfolio in a fast-evolving market.
  • Translate technical features into compelling, human stories that make customers and executives lean in.
  • Deliver presentations that earn the trust and attention of senior IT leaders and C-level audiences.
  • Own GTM strategy for major launches and cross-sell initiatives, aligning tightly with Product, Sales, and Growth Marketing.
  • Drive competitive positioning, pricing narratives, and value frameworks that accelerate adoption and revenue.
  • Operate with urgency, ensuring our messaging keeps pace with the velocity of our engineering and product teams.
  • Lead creation of high-impact content - solution briefs, ROI stories, executive decks, and customer case studies.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to arm field teams with the tools and messaging they need to win CIOs and IT leaders.
  • Stay ahead of trends and competitive shifts to continuously evolve our category narrative.
  • Conduct persona research, customer interviews, and win/loss analysis to refine positioning and GTM strategy.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of Product Marketing experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
  • Proven ability to craft compelling, persona-based storytelling that connects technical solutions to executive priorities.
  • Track record of elevating positioning and messaging to win the ear of CIOs and senior IT executives.
  • Experience serving as a category evangelist, driving thought leadership in a fast-growing market.
  • Expertise in GTM strategy, competitive positioning, and launch execution.
  • Experience operating at the speed of agile product and engineering teams.
  • Executive presence and presentation skills; comfortable representing the company at major events.
  • Background in IT, digital experience, or infrastructure software (VDI, endpoint management, EUC) a plus.

Additional Information
We are the pioneers and trailblazers of a global IT Market Category (DEX) that is shaping the future of how the world works, giving our customers' IT Teams total digital visibility across their enterprise. Our innovative solutions integrate real-time analytics, automation, and employee feedback across all endpoints. This enables our IT teams to solve complex technical challenges, create ever more productive workplaces, and deliver happy, satisfied employees in the digital workplace.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
