Description

WHO WE ARE

Come join the company at the center of how the world adopts AI securely. Cyera’s mission is to give enterprises the confidence to embrace AI safely — deciding exactly what it can see and do as it reaches deeper into the business. We started by solving the hardest problem in data security: finding and securing data faster and more precisely than anyone thought possible. That foundation is now the essential AI trust infrastructure for the Fortune 1000. We’re hiring mission-driven talent to put those leaders at the center of our story.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Cyera is building the next generation of AI and data security. Our platform empowers security teams to manage and protect all of their company’s sensitive data. Cyera provides visibility and insight into your data, identities, AI agents and access, and delivers actionable guidance to minimize cyber-risks stemming from exposure, vulnerabilities, misconfigurations and runtime threats.

Backed by the world’s leading cyber investors and led by a strong, dynamic team of technical and industry experts, Cyera is scaling and gaining market traction quickly.

As AI agents and non-human identities reshape the threat landscape, original security research has become one of the most credible ways to earn trust with security leaders. To power our next phase of growth, we are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, AI Threat Research to turn Cyera’s data, AI, and identity security expertise into a research-led marketing engine. You will partner with our researchers and product teams to uncover, package, and publish original threat research that builds Cyera’s authority in the market and drives pipeline.

This position is 100% from anywhere in the US, eastern time zone strongly preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and run a threat research publishing program, including AI security research, threat reports, vulnerability disclosures, and data-driven industry findings
  • Partner with Cyera’s researchers, Product, and Data Science to identify compelling research angles and translate technical findings into clear, credible narratives for security practitioners and executives
  • Create and manage the full research content portfolio: blogs, technical write-ups, flagship reports, briefs, webinars, and conference talks
  • Develop go-to-market plans that connect research to Cyera’s positioning, messaging, and product value, and equip Sales and Customer Success with the stories and talking points to use it
  • Drive launch and amplification of research across media, analyst, social, and community channels, building relationships with security press and industry influencers
  • Track and report on research impact, including share of voice, media and analyst pickup, engagement, and influenced pipeline
  • Monitor the threat landscape and competitive research output to find gaps where Cyera can lead, particularly in AI security and non-human identity risk
  • Serve as a market-facing subject matter expert and thought leader for Cyera
Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of product marketing, security content marketing, or threat research communications experience
  • Prior experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, data security, or as-a-Service technologies, ideally supporting a threat intelligence or research team
  • Demonstrated ability to translate deeply technical research into compelling content for both technical and executive audiences
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of published research-driven content
  • Working knowledge of the threat landscape, including AI and LLM security risks, data exposure, and identity-based threats
  • Experience launching research through PR, analyst relations, and owned channels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

  • Experience working directly with security researchers or a threat intelligence team
  • Familiarity with vulnerability disclosure and responsible publication practices
  • Background in a technical security role

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
