As a Staff Product Manager at Grindr, you will play a critical role in shaping and enhancing our leading LGBTQ+ social networking platform. You will be responsible for driving product strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering exceptional user experiences. What’s the job?   

  • Define and execute the product roadmap, aligning with the company's strategic goals and user needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and data analytics, to successfully deliver product initiatives from ideation to launch.
  • Conduct market research, gather user feedback, and analyze data to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features, establish project timelines, and ensure successful product delivery.
  • Monitor key product metrics and performance indicators, conduct A/B tests, and iterate on features to optimize user experiences.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to drive product innovation.

What we'll love about you  

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • 8+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a consumer-facing mobile app or web platform.
  • Strong understanding of product management methodologies, including market research, ideation, user testing, and agile development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform product decisions.
  • Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and making a positive impact in the LGBTQ+ community.

We’ll really swoon if you have 

  • Experience with mobile app development or web-based platforms.
  • Familiarity with user-centred design principles and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of LGBTQ+ community dynamics and needs.
  • Experience in rapid prototyping and iterative product development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex challenges.

This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will also be eligible for equity, benefits, and a company bonus program.

Los Angeles Base Pay Range

$201,000$236,000 USD
