About Us

At SentinelOne, we’re redefining cybersecurity by pushing the limits of what’s possible—leveraging AI-powered, data-driven innovation to stay ahead of tomorrow’s threats.

From building industry-leading products to cultivating an exceptional company culture, our core values guide everything we do. We’re looking for passionate individuals who thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to drive impact. If you’re excited about solving complex challenges in bold, innovative ways, we’d love to connect with you.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to join our AI SIEM team. At SentinelOne, Singularity AI SIEM empowers organizations to ingest, normalize, analyze, and take action on data from any source across the enterprise—enhancing their security posture with speed and intelligence. Join us and help shape one of SentinelOne’s fastest-growing product lines, contributing to the evolution of our Security AI platform.

In this role, you will define, own, and execute the product strategy for SentinelOne’s Marketplace, ensuring data integrations and ingestion pipelines power end-to-end workflows across detections, natural language queries, dashboards, and more. This includes standardizing on OCSF, driving reusable platform primitives and enabling seamless onboarding that works across all major product capabilities. You will work cross-functionally to ensure these efforts are deeply integrated with platform architecture, extensibility frameworks, and developer experience.

Additionally, you will define, own, and execute the product strategy for SentinelOne’s Data Ingestion Pipelines and Data Store—foundational components of our AI SIEM platform. You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle, from strategic planning and roadmap definition to hands-on execution and continuous optimization. This includes both internal platform capabilities and customer-facing outcomes that enable scalable, secure, and efficient data operations. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the vision and delivery roadmap in close collaboration with engineering, architecture, and peer PM teams across SentinelOne.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility position requiring deep technical acumen, cross-functional leadership, and a passion for building platform products that power mission-critical cybersecurity use cases.

What will you do?

  • Drive marketplace-ready integration strategy: Ensure every high-priority log source delivers end-to-end value across detection, AI-driven investigation, and managed services. Collaborate with marketplace and Purple AI PMs to bundle ingestion with NL support, MDR visibility, and detection content. Lead schema normalization strategy using OCSF, and represent SentinelOne in relevant working groups and community initiatives.
  • Own the data pipeline and storage vision: Define and drive the end-to-end product strategy for SentinelOne’s next-generation data pipelines and scalable data store. Shape how petabyte-scale, real-time security telemetry is ingested, transformed, enriched, and stored across the platform. Ensure high availability, low-latency access, and cost-efficient retention aligned with enterprise-grade security and compliance requirements. Collaborate across product management, platform engineering, security research, sales engineering, and customer success to define SLAs, optimize TCO, and deliver differentiated value to customers.
  • Build reusable primitives for extensibility: Define and deliver platform primitives (e.g., “Send via Webhook”, “Send via Slack”) that allow customers and internal teams to compose flexible workflows without bespoke integrations. Champion the principle of “configure once, activate everywhere” across ingestion and data activation flows.
  • Requirements gathering: Work closely with internal teams, customers, and external partners to gather requirements. Develop comprehensive PRFAQs (press release and frequently asked questions) that outline the problem statement, customer value proposition, solution, and user experience, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams. Create and maintain strategy documents that define how we win.
  • Technical oversight: Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements and guide architectural decisions. You must have technical expertise and the ability to drive user acceptance testing (UAT) and customer-facing technical validation.
  • Drive data-driven decisions: Leverage advanced analytics, product telemetry, and monitoring tools to uncover actionable insights into adoption, usage patterns, and performance of data pipelines and the data store. Identify trends and potential areas for optimization.
  • Track market and industry trends: Stay current on cybersecurity and data platform trends to ensure our Singularity Data Lake and AI SIEM maintain leadership in innovation, scalability, and relevance, especially as it relates to data interoperability, ecosystem integrations, and AI-native SIEM use cases.

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

  • Experience building or managing app ecosystems, developer marketplaces, or extensibility platforms
  • Deep experience building and scaling data ingestion pipelines, stream processing systems, and telemetry stores—especially in high-scale, low-latency environments is essential
  • At least 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 12 years and a Master’s degree or a PhD with 8 years experience or equivalent
  • A deep understanding of how advanced AI models, including machine learning and natural language processing, can be applied to automate and optimize, data pipelines is highly desirable
  • Action-oriented mindset with a proven track record of balancing the delivery of long-term goals and short-term objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to properly translate and articulate positioning and requirements.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams in different time zones.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers in research, engineering, sales and product marketing.
  • Strong quantitative and business analysis skills.
  • Experience with evangelizing products with customers and other internal stakeholders

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
