This is a fully remote role in the United States.
As the Principal Product Manager, Life Sciences at Turquoise Health, you’ll lead the evolution of our Life Sciences suite of products. This role is focused on building, scaling, and optimizing our Life Science’s suite of platform products that streamlines complex pricing, modeling, and contracting workflows.
You’ll partner closely with our cross-functional product, customer and technical teams to design products and launch features that are key to helping life sciences manufacturers commercialize their products. Over time, this function will power use cases across multiple functions deep within our life sciences customer base and contribute platform-level components that scale to other verticals.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a builder who thrives in ambiguity, understands the transformative power of healthcare pricing data & tools, and is motivated to bring elegant, scalable solutions to legacy industry pain points. It’s ideal for someone who has led life sciences product development and is ready to go deep on a function that sits at the core of life sciences data infrastructure.
ResponsibilitiesAs Principal PM, you will:
- Define and execute the product vision for our Life sciences suite of data and workflow products, in partnership with customer, engineering, design, and subject matter experts.
- Design intuitive, scalable workflows that streamline data ingestion, structuring, normalization, and interpretation of complex healthcare data
- Apply your deep healthcare subject matter expertise to designing, developing and pressure-testing our approach visualization and modeling workflows
- Collaborate with engineers to develop, test, and refine processes that enhance processes and understanding and surface key pricing insights.
- Own the roadmap and ship features that are reliable, useful, and extensible across stakeholders—from field reimbursement managers to market access leaders
- Ensure performance and product UX meet a high bar for clarity, accuracy, and explainability.
- Drive adoption and learning, incorporating user feedback and market data to iterate quickly and continuously improve life sciences products.
What you bring to the role:
- Minimum of 5+ of experience in product management with B2B health technology tools (contracting, document management, and/or financial modeling software preferred)
- Deep Life Sciences commercial & reimbursement subject matter expertise, powered by curiosity and interest in life sciences process improvement
- Experience working with market access, HEOR, Pricing and Contracting stakeholders in the life sciences industry
- Experience building products powered by healthcare data with working knowledge of front and back end design systems and best practices
- Strong technical collaboration skills, especially with product, design, engineers and data scientists
- Proven track record of successfully owning and executing B2B product development initiatives with a specific focus on life sciences product driven by complex healthcare data
- Fluency with legal and compliance requirements related to contracting in the healthcare or technology industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are just as comfortable speaking to health system, payer, and employer benefits leadership as you are speaking internally in front of a department
- Existing understanding of the backend functions of the healthcare & life sciences industry
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience/knowledge. We are happy to work with strong candidates with non-traditional educational backgrounds.
Salary
The salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 - $185,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and reflect the minimum and maximum salary across all US locations (please note: salaries are location agnostic). Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We will talk about compensation in our first conversation and be transparent throughout the process about which level we think is the best match for you in our organization. Please note that the salary range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary, benefits, and company stock options.
