The Principal Product Designer will lead the design efforts for a collaborative 3D software, focusing on UX, user interfaces, and design systems tailored for the AEC industry.

We are looking for an exceptional Product Designer with a passion for modern, cutting-edge design to be a key contributor on our Design team as we build a simple, collaborative and intuitive cloud-based product to delight our AEC industry customers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with product design, UX or interaction design, as well as experience with creating production level user interfaces for professional (web-based) applications
- Track record for modern, cutting edge UX
- Ability to create and iterate on complex wireframes, prototypes, workflows, journey diagrams, all the way to detailed specs etc. and ability to effectively communicate UI and interaction ideas using any of these methods
- Experience with usability, user testing, requirements gathering, journey mapping as well as user research and UXD tools and frameworks
- Experience with agile/scrum development process, as well as communication and cooperation skills
- Ability to contribute to and use Design System and collaborate with engineering to ensure adoption
- Seeking feedback and open to receive and give design critique and iterate on the work
- Expert level experience with Figma, Adobe suite
- Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Commitment to high quality, modern design coupled with strong design skills and a portfolio to prove it. Please be prepared to present your portfolio during the interview (select 2-3 projects that best represent the breadth and depth of your experience)
Bonus qualifications
- Experience designing in 3D (gaming, CAD, BIM software or plugins).
- Experience using 3D, gaming apps, CAD or BIM software
- Interest or experience as architect, interior designer or structural engineer
- Front end development proficiency
- Designing for workflows that incorporate AI / ML
