About the role:

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Principal Product Operations Manager who will be responsible for launch readiness and will lead cross-functional planning and execution of product and feature releases. This individual will coordinate all go-to-market (GTM) readiness activities, align stakeholders across departments, and ensure smooth, timely, and successful market entry.

 Responsibilities:

Pricing Strategy & Readiness 

  • Collaborate with Product and Finance teams to define pricing models for new products or features. 
  • Ensure pricing strategy is aligned with business goals and market conditions. 
    Coordinate readiness of pricing-related systems (e.g., billing, quoting tools). 
  • Ensure clear internal communication and documentation of pricing changes ahead of launch. 

Program & Project Management 

  • Own the end-to-end launch readiness process for product releases or initiatives. 
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and success metrics. 
  • Drive weekly readiness reviews with stakeholders; escalate risks and resolve blockers. 
  • Create and maintain project documentation, dashboards, and status reports. 

Cross-functional Coordination 

  • Collaborate and enable Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Support, and Ops teams on launch deliverables. 
  • Ensure all teams are informed, accountable, and prepared ahead of launch via consistent communication and feedback loops. 
  • Track progress on readiness checklists including training, collateral, messaging, FAQs, etc. 

Risk & Issue Management 

  • Identify potential risks to launch timelines or quality, establish escalation paths and proactively mitigate issues. 
  • Serve as the single point of contact for tracking and resolving launch blockers. 

Operational Excellence 

  • Build and refine scalable launch frameworks, playbooks and SOPs for structured repeatable processes. 
  • Establish KPIs and post-launch retrospectives to drive continuous improvement. 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in project management, program management, product operations, or GTM operations. 
  • Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional product or feature launches. 
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle and go-to-market strategies. 
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.  
  • Prior experience working with functions like pricing, finance, and similar cross-functional teams as a strong plus. 
  • Familiarity with Asana Tech stack like Jira, Jira Product Discovery and Confluence. 
  • PMP, Agile, or SCRUM certification. 
  • Highly proactive, structured thinker, and problem-solver.  
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving alignment across functions.  
  • Experience in fast-paced SaaS or tech environments.
