Enterprise Effects Division Description
The Enterprise Effects Division (EED) drives integration of Aerospace's strategic capabilities across the national space enterprise. The division leverages a broad array of engineering disciplines against a wide-ranging and dynamic portfolio of programs, customers, and national challenges. EED spans the capability lifecycle from concept and architecture design to performance assessment to application of space and space-enabled capabilities.

The Enterprise Integration Solutions Office guides the solution of cross-agency, multi-mission capability orchestration problems by building and leveraging integration expertise throughout the corporation. The office builds agile project teams who collaborate across disciplines, customers, international partners, and industry in support of national outcomes.

Work Model
- This is a full-time position based in Crystal City VA, Chantilly VA, Colorado Springs CO or El Segundo CA which requires 100% onsite work.
What You'll Be Doing
As the principal director of the Enterprise Integration Solutions Office, you'll:
- Operate strategically to deliver corporate enterprise integration capability and impactful results ahead of need.
- Lead the orchestration of cross-organization teams to address hard enterprise integration problems, spanning programs, customers and mission capabilities.
- Build and maintain a lean and agile team that leverages the full capabilities of Aerospace, and partners and customers.
- Serve as a front door to the capabilities and resources of Aerospace for hard problems that warrant a multi-disciplinary or cross-customer approach.
- Form, deliver and sustain engineering integration talent pipeline and surge capacity.
What You Need to be Successful - Principal Director, Enterprise Integration Solutions Office - Enterprise Systems Engineering
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or related discipline
- 12 or more years of progressive responsibility leading to a technical program and/or team leadership role in the space community.
- Track record of delivering strategic results through an enterprise mindset, anticipation of internal/external customer needs and opportunities, building teams and enabling cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience leading through ambiguity, aligning teams and organizations to achieve common objectives while anticipating and mitigating obstacles and resistance to change.
- Exceptional influence and stakeholder engagement skills, with proven ability to overcome barriers, establish relationships and maintain trust with individuals, groups and/or stakeholders whose interests are not always aligned.
- Strong technical, leadership, and people management skills across strategic planning; budget development and execution; and hiring, development, and retention of high-performing and change-resilient technical and project leadership talent.
- Demonstrated leadership presence including the ability to engage successfully with senior executives and external audiences.
- Willing to travel to meet the needs of the organization and customers, approximately 25-40% of the time.
- This position requires a current and active TS/SCI clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
- Master's or PhD degree in related STEM discipline.
- Extensive experience in across strategic planning, space system architecting, modeling and simulation and acquisition.
- Success in forming collaborations across government, industry and/or international partners to accelerate access to game-changing capabilities in space.
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience in both customer-facing and matrixed engineering organizations, including significant interactions with corporate and customer executive leadership.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating in major strategic initiatives across other FFRDCs, government entities, UARCs, SETAs and/or industry.
- Current and active DoD Special Access Program and/or additional Intelligence Community clearances.
