Job Description:
We are seeking a Principal of Content Strategy Intelligence to lead our content strategy org’s research and analysis practice. This role will develop a deep understanding of emerging technology, competitive trends, Pluralsight practices and audience behavior to help us prototype the future of Pluralsight’s content creation.
The Intelligence Principal will work across the content organization as an embedded resource to develop and expand practices that help us efficiently meet the needs of our customers. This role will also be responsible for refining the specifications and priorities for the Content Strategy team’s in-house prototypes.
As a leader reporting to the Senior Director of Content Strategy, you will translate your research data into actionable recommendations, develop frameworks for evaluating initiatives, run test projects and partner with the Director of AI-Driven Content Innovation to ensure that our R&D work is optimized for both real-world performance and to win the future.

What you’ll do:
Role Specific Functions
Lead cross-functional research initiatives to identify promising emerging technology
Develop frameworks for evaluating and prioritizing experimental production tools
Coordinate internal tests of emerging technology applications
Present findings and strategic recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
Support the senior director for specific projects and presentations
Innovation & Insights
Develop a deep understanding of Pluralsight’s content catalog and identify areas ripe for innovation
Identify emerging trends, technologies, and user behaviors that impact content products
Develop and maintain relationships with internal partners and external vendors
Champion innovative approaches to content development
Strategic Leadership
Track organic AI experimentation across the content organization and identify the most promising for further development
Collaborate with content, product, and engineering teams on experimental initiatives
Prioritize features and functionality for Content Strategy’s prototype tools
Lead efforts to integrate Pluralsight educational content into our topical newsletters
Experience you’ll bring:
Previous Responsibility for planning, monitoring and executing on organizational KPIs
Experience collecting coordinating and analyzing enterprise technological experimentation
Proven high end writing skills and experience preparing presentations for senior leaders
Previous experience in audience development or strategic responsibility for maintaining customers
Requirements:
Experience in growth and/or experimentation initiatives in a large organization
Previous work implementing emerging technology practices and tools
Experience working in complex, collaborative business environments and managing internal relationships
Experience building experiences, products and tools designed for Internet audiences
Previous work partnering with machine learning data science or analytics experts to develop practical solutions
Working knowledge of product or project management best practices
10+ years experience working in media, technology or a related field
This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. Physical Requirements:
This role is primarily performed in an office or home office setting and involves standard computer-based work.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $115,500 - $160,400 USD. Actual compensation will depend on location, skills, experience, and other factors. Additional benefits and bonuses may apply.
