About the Role: 

As a Principal Consultant on the Professional Services team, you’ll lead complex cybersecurity engagements that help industrial organizations secure their operational environments. You’ll guide architecture reviews, threat assessments, and tabletop exercises - translating technical insight into strategic action for engineering, operations, and executive teams. Blending hands-on ICS expertise with leadership and innovation, you’ll influence Dragos research, shape client strategies, and strengthen the defenses of critical infrastructure worldwide.

Responsibilities:  

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on a team performing architecture reviews, tabletop exercises and assessments in industrial environments. These engagements include a range of tasks such as documentation review and gap analysis, site walk-downs, and network/host data collection and analysis.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensure timely and successful delivery of client engagements.
  • Develop and execute strategies for data collection and analysis, align with client objectives and industry standards. Detailed understanding of threat groups, TTPs, tools, and vulnerability assessments, and influence the direction of Dragos detection technology.
  • Drive research and innovation, producing actionable insights that inform product development and service offerings.
  • Optimize workflows and procedures, identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Serve as a senior client advisor, provide strategic guidance and addressing complex client needs. Contribute to organizational growth, identify opportunities for business development and expansion. 

Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of progressive experience leading and architecting ICS/OT security initiatives across complex environments.
  • Deep expertise in industrial control systems, devices, instrumentation, and communications protocols, with a track record of influencing enterprise-level OT security strategy.
  • Extensive experience across critical infrastructure sectors such as electric, oil & gas, chemical, manufacturing (pharmaceuticals, food & beverage), or utilities — driving large-scale risk reduction and resiliency programs.
  • Proven ability to rapidly synthesize emerging technologies and industry trends to shape product innovation, service delivery models, and customer strategy.
  • Strong communicator with experience developing and reviewing technical documentation, frameworks, and executive-level deliverables.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem, including SIEM/SOAR, endpoint security, managed detection and response, and network visibility platforms.
  • Demonstrated technical depth in system administration, networking, operating system hardening, and remote access architectures — with the ability to guide teams conducting complex assessments.
  • Skilled at leading cross-functional, geographically distributed teams and influencing stakeholders across business and technical domains.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% (domestic and international) to support key customer initiatives and strategic engagements.

Compensation: 

  • Salary: $165,000
