Stryker is seeking a Principal Clinical Study Manager to join our Neurovascular Division. Applicants must reside in the Pacific Time Zone, with a strong preference for candidates located in California, to ensure effective collaboration with the team and alignment with business needs.

As the Principal Clinical Study Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of complex clinical studies that advance innovation in stroke care. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive operational excellence to deliver high-quality results.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with business unit leadership to define and manage program scope, including creating a detailed Work Breakdown Structure.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive program schedule using Gantt charts; analyze critical paths, major workstreams, and intersecting milestones.

  • Create and manage program budgets in partnership with cross-functional leaders; monitor and optimize costs to stay within budget.

  • Partner with project teams to develop and maintain Quality Plans using industry-standard tools and techniques.

  • Establish and execute a risk management plan, including identifying, analyzing, and mitigating program risks.

  • Develop a Procurement Management Plan and contribute strategically to vendor selection and procurement decisions.

  • Estimate, acquire, and allocate cross-functional resources; define roles and deliverables, provide feedback, coach team members, and support recruitment and onboarding.

  • Create and implement stakeholder engagement and communication plans to ensure alignment across program teams, key stakeholders, and business leaders.

What You Need

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in program or project management

  • Proven ability to manage complex programs, budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

  • MS or MBA

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent professional certification

  • Experience in procurement planning and vendor management

  • Familiarity with quality systems and risk management methodologies

$118,000.00 - $255,700.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
