  • Build strong relationships with Leadership team members, department heads, and peer Chiefs of Staff to drive alignment on initiatives.
  • Lead preparation for key internal and external communications, including board materials, all-teams presentations, and strategic memos.
  • Facilitate quarterly and annual planning processes, ensuring alignment on priorities, KPIs, and resourcing across teams.
  • Develop and maintain operational rhythms (e.g., leadership meetings, goal tracking, reviews) to enhance team effectiveness and accountability.
  • Identify, scope, and manage special projects that don’t have a natural home but are critical to business success.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to plan and deliver internal announcements, Town Halls, and executive messaging.
  • Coordinate with other Chiefs of Staff and Executive Assistants to ensure clarity and alignment across the leadership team.
  • Provide analytical insights and recommendations to the COO and executive team to inform strategic decisions.
  • Foster cross-functional alignment by building strong relationships across departments and enabling more seamless collaboration.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in strategy, operations, management consulting, product, or business leadership roles; experience in ad tech or mobile technology is a plus.
  • Comfort and aptitude in using GenAI tools in the completion of day to day tasks and projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and execute cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a strong bias for action.
  • Polished communication and presentation skills; comfortable interacting with senior leadership and external partners.
  • High emotional intelligence, with a track record of building trust and influence across all levels of an organization.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and proactively bringing structure to complex or undefined problem spaces.
  • You will have a Growth Mindset, with a willingness to experiment, iterate, and learn continuously in pursuit of improved outcomes.
  • You will bring Agency and Urgency, acting proactively and decisively in moving initiatives forward.
  • Ability to travel to our office locations as needed.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
